The Quotations Browse lets you navigate through a list of famous people featured in Britannica and some of their well-known quotations. You can look up quotations by a specific person or find an author of a specific quote using the search field found on this page. Enter a person’s name or enter a quote to find all the related quotes.

You can access the Quotations Browse feature by clicking the “Browse” link at the top of the Britannica Online Premium home page. On the next screen, click the “Quotations” link in the left column. On the Quotations page the authors are listed alphabetically. Scroll down the list of people to preview excerpts of their quotes in the Supplemental Information box to the right of the author list. Click on any author’s name to view their quotes. You can also click the “See More…” button in the Supplemental Information box to view more information about the author’s quote.

Helpful Hint: You can also save quotations to your Workspace folder by clicking on the folder icon that appears when the cursor is placed on an author’s name.
